ARCUS Greencycling Technologies
The ARCUS Greencycling Technologies specializes in the recycling of mixed plastic waste without the need for prior sorting. This provides an innovative and additional solution to the challenges of complex waste streams. ARCUS has developed a groundbreaking technology that enables the closure of the plastic cycle and significantly reduces the carbon footprint of plastics by diverting valuable mixed plastic waste from incineration, thereby contributing to the promotion of the circular economy. This has been achieved through the combination of mechanical and chemical processes. The facility has an annual processing capacity of approximately 4,000 tons of mixed plastic waste.
What braintec has implemented
braintec has successfully migrated ARCUS's Odoo system from the cloud platform Odoo.sh to a company-owned production server. In doing so, braintec took care of the entire transfer for ARCUS and continues to handle the hosting. With braintec's solution, ARCUS benefits from a stable, secure, and high-performance operation of their Odoo platform.
In a second phase, a smooth migration from Odoo version 16 to version 18 also took place. With the current version, ARCUS utilizes a powerful and integrated Odoo solution that meets operational requirements and allows for future expansions.
