World Rowing Federation

The World Rowing Federation, officially known as the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés d'Aviron (FISA), is the international governing body for rowing and was founded in 1892. Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, it coordinates rowing competitions worldwide, including the World Rowing Championships and Olympic Rowing Regattas, and is committed to the promotion and development of rowing.
