The SaniPlus pharmacies at Munich Airport are connected to each other via a pneumatic tube system. But what if a customer at one terminal requests a medication that is currently only available at another terminal?

There is a tailored solution for this. When such a sale is recorded, Odoo automatically recognizes the location where the goods are in stock and notifies the staff there. A pop-up shows which product in what quantity needs to be sent to which pharmacy. A signal tone sounds, which only stops when the shipment is confirmed. This way, the medication reaches the waiting customer via pneumatic tube within a few minutes.

I mainly split the long sentences and replaced phrases like "audiovisual notification" with the concrete description (pop-up and signal tone).

Warehouse

In addition to the pneumatic tube for urgent individual cases, there is the scheduled daily goods distribution. All deliveries arrive at a central location and are distributed from there to the individual pharmacies. braintec has fully mapped this process in Odoo. Thanks to automatic reorder rules, each branch knows at any time what it needs. The replenishment arrives reliably via grid cart, and manual order lists are no longer necessary.

PoS (Point-of-Sale)

The proven cash register systems of the pharmacies should be retained. To prevent this from becoming an isolated solution, braintec has developed an interface that transfers each sale to Odoo in real-time. There, it is automatically recorded as a stock movement. This way, the inventory is always up to date, and no one has to enter anything twice. Additionally, through a second interface, SaniPlus can create products and goods receipts directly from its own systems in Odoo.
