Based in Switzerland, CeRFI SA is an established IT service provider with over 160 employees, specializing in the development of custom software solutions and strategic IT consulting. For more than 30 years, the company has been providing services in the areas of service desk, IT training, web development, and e-learning, with all data securely hosted on servers in Switzerland.
What braintec has implemented
CeRFI has future-proofed its IT landscape by migrating to Odoo 18 and utilizing braintec’s specialized Odoo hosting. The result is an optimally synchronized system environment featuring maximum data security and a significant boost in performance.
Sales
CeRFI uses the Odoo CRM app to manage sales opportunities with precision. Custom automations—such as those triggered by successfully closing an opportunity—reduce manual tasks and drive overall efficiency.
Using the Odoo Sales app and the PDF Quote Builder, CeRFI generates professional quotes directly from the system, fully aligned with their corporate design and formatting requirements.
Recruitment and Human Resources
A core focus of the project was automating recruitment to handle high-volume hiring waves more efficiently and minimize administrative overhead. Today, the multi-stage selection process is intuitive and streamlined: once an application is received, moving the candidate along the Kanban board triggers an automated invitation. Candidates then book their own interviews via calendar integration, secured by a unique validation code. Furthermore, the application form captures specific qualifications, such as language skills, while ensuring full data privacy compliance through integrated consent management.
Project Management
The project has set new standards in project control and resource planning. To coordinate over 120 consultants, the Odoo Project app was customized to centralize mandate details, including objectives, contact persons, and timelines. A standout feature of this solution is the ability to assign tasks even to employees without direct system access. Combined with the Gantt view, management maintains full visibility and control over team utilization at all times.
Employee Management
To perfect the consultants' presentation to clients, employee management was fully digitized. Consultants can now generate standardized CVs directly from Odoo at the touch of a button. These profiles bundle professional history, specific skills, and personal information into a high-quality layout that automatically follows CeRFI’s corporate design.

Website
In partnership with braintec and a creative agency, CeRFI is currently digitizing its web presence within Odoo 18. This collaboration will result in three new digital websites: a corporate website, an intranet, and a dedicated product page.
