Odoo Sales
At Lumino, almost every order is its own manufacturing project. A confirmed offer today triggers the entire process chain in Odoo: From the sales order, the delivery order and, if necessary, the corresponding manufacturing order are automatically generated. Manual transfers are eliminated, and manufacturing has immediate access to all relevant information.
Odoo Production
Lumino manufactures complex systems, many of which are order-related, partly in-house and partly with manufacturing partners. In the workshop, Odoo guides through each work step on the tablet, shows the next operation, and records the processing time per station. Where traceability is required, serial numbers are recorded directly during assembly, down to the unique assignment of a component to a specific housing. Planning is done top-down, ensuring that deadlines and capacities are reliably coordinated.
Odoo Warehouse
In the warehouse, each unit is tracked individually. Batch and serial numbers ensure that each component can be uniquely traced. Labels with numbers and barcodes are generated directly from the inventory movements and printed on new, reliable industrial printers. Since LED components are delivered in large quantities, Odoo automatically rounds the quantities up to the nearest thousand.
Odoo Finance
Instead of a separate accounting software, Lumino now works seamlessly in Odoo. Costs can be allocated precisely to cost centers automatically or manually. For long-term projects, the valuation at standard prices creates a stable calculation basis, and price deviations in purchasing remain traceable at all times.
Since the beginning of 2026, Lumino Licht Elektronik has been productively working with Odoo 18. Behind the displays that bring millions of passengers to their destinations on time every day is a system that operates as reliably as the display boards at the platform.
