The Peyer Cover GmbH, in collaboration with braintec, has digitized its processes in purchasing, sales, inventory management, finance, and master data maintenance in Odoo 18. The solution reflects both the classic order and inventory flow as well as the specific requirements of an internationally active German specialist with extensive sample business.
Sale
Peyer Graphic supplies customers worldwide, both within and outside the EU. A compliant customs processing is essential for this. braintec has therefore developed a customized customs pro forma invoice that is generated directly from the sales order and automatically takes into account the relevant certificates of origin. The order-related cutting is also initiated directly from the sales order. The pricing is tailored to the wide range of quantity units: from a single sheet to several hundred square meters.
Warehouse
The shipping of product samples is part of the daily business at Peyer Cover. braintec has developed a solution that automatically separates sample deliveries from the regular flow of goods. This keeps the sales statistics in the core business meaningful and clearly delineates the sample business. Inventory management has been enhanced with batch and serial number tracking. Since then, it ensures seamless traceability throughout the entire supply chain.
Gradual introduction without operational interruption
The ERP implementation at Peyer Cover follows a deliberately staged roadmap. At the beginning of 2024, the system went live successfully with the core functionalities for sales, purchasing, and CRM. Subsequently, the warehouse logistics were expanded. In 2025, braintec migrated the platform to Odoo 18. Thanks to this step-by-step approach, the platform remained technologically up to date without any interruption to daily operations.
