Upgrading an Odoo instance is usually a time-consuming and demanding process, both for you and your customer. Therefore, it is understandable that a customer might try to delay upgrading their Odoo as long as possible, especially if they have extensive customizations. This delay often means entering a phase where your customer's Odoo is no longer supported by Odoo SA. As an Odoo partner, it is your responsibility to try to avoid this as much as possible (for the sake of your customers). However, this isn't always possible, and it is also your responsibility to be there for them and help them move on from an unsupported version at their own pace. In this talk, we would like to provide insights, gathered from our extensive personal experience, on how to support your customers in this challenging journey. Some important topics we would like to cover are: - Customizations analysis - Customer assessment - Upgrade strategies - Effective communications - Roadmap definition Try Odoo online at https://www.odoo.com/r/xGhi
